Warranty:
Torrid's marine water heater is covered by a five year limited warranty against failure of the storage tank or any electrical component or mechanical part. (Copy of limited warranty available upon request).

Electrical:
Torrid's exclusive stainless steel sheathed elements are low watt density and designed to operate even if tank is not filled with water. The standard wattage is 1500 watt 120 volt AC for 15 amp. fused circuit. Other voltages (208 - 240 or 480) and other wattages (maximum 2,000W - 120V and 4,000W - 240V) are available. Electric thermostat and safety limit combination are rated to 30 amp. at 240 volts. Element and thermostats are U.L. component listed and the electrical system is ignition protected in accordance with USCG requirements if installed and grounded in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

Mechanical:
Torrid's heavy duty glass lined tank is rated at 150 lb. P.S.I. working pressure and equipped with an ASME approved Temperature and Pressure relief valve. The storage tank is encased in an attractive steel jacket with a gleaming Epoxy powder coated finish and is insulated with high density fiber glass. AIR-VENT outlet - virtually eliminates trapped air.
